Camping Words/Phrases

 

Camping is a wonderful activity for kids of all ages(even kids at heart!), but activities like scouts and camping are especially beneficial to the handicap child. Far from the reaches and glances of society they can flourish at a small campsite with the constant attention and family time with parents/siblings we see these children shine in their natural, animalistic light. Please, don't misunderstand me to be saying our children are animals, you must understand that I view all humans as animals that have lost their instincts. I am a firm believer that it is when we take a step back from technology and look within ourselves and nature we truly find peace and purpose. Whether you believe that or not, camping is a great way to spend time as a family and motivate your children! Below are some common words and phrases we use camping to help you out on your next ASL-friendly camping experience!! P.S. - Bring lamps so you can see to sign to each other while trying to build a fire lol.
